My Raynaud's is getting so bad with the colder weather. I am getting about 8 or 9 attacks per day and the slightest change in temperature seems to set it off. I thought I was on the full dose of Nifedipine (5mg 3 x day) but the nurse just rang to tell me increase it to 10 mg 4 times per day. I recall when I first took this drug I felt very dizzy so am a bit nervous about the increase. This drug opens the blood vessels so causes a drop in blood pressure. My pressure has always been on the low side anyway. I'll probably dip my toe in slowly and build the dose gradually. Has anyone else tried Nifedipine for this problem or any other drugs that worked for them? Any advice would be gratefully received. I take all the usual precautions like gloves and heat packs, avoiding cold surfaces etc. Thanks from Naomi X
